Class to post travel expense report to general ledger

Hi , 

When I post travel expense.

It'll add records in GeneralJournalAccountEntry table.

but I can't find what class it is using to do it.

Can anyone shed some light for me?

It will be very appreciated!

(My ax version is 2012 R3 CU8)

    Majority of the postings are going through the LedgerJournalEngine* and LedgerVoucher* class structure.

    Have a look at the code behind the button you are using for the posting, put a breakpoint in there, and step through the process using the debugger.

    Alternatively you could override the aosValidateInsert method on the table, place a breakpoint in there, do the posting and the code will stop right at the time when the record is about to be inserted. Then you could work your way back in the call stack.

    But most posting code seems running in CIL.

    So I have to use Visual Studio to debug?

    That is correct, you could debug managed code in Visual Studio.

    Alternatively you could try to disable Execute business operations in CIL flag in your User Options > Debug tab and see if you could do it in the AX debugger.
