Lead Qualification error

Hi All,

I am facing an issue while qualifying a lead when I add a member to sales team grid.

pastedimage1579590886846v2.png

If I have add any user to this grid and try to qualify the lead, I get the following error:

"The user you're trying to add is already a member of the sales team. If you contact support, please provide the technical details."

The error log also does not mention any detail. The grid stores records from Connections(Connected from) entity.

Though, when I click on qualify button it gives the error but a new connection corresponding to the contact on lead gets created.

I do not want my users to see this message. I am not sure if I perform any wrong step.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Out of the box the sales team grid is something that only exists on opportunities, and not on leads. It is connected with the access team "Opportunity Sales Team Template".

Did you customize the leads form to add a similar subgrid to it ? If so, can you show the grid configuration you used so I can test on my side ?

    Hello Franc,

Yes I have added this grid on the lead form. Below is the configuration for grid:

    Hi,

I created a similar grid on my Leads form, and I was still able to qualify them. I tested with 3 or 4, and I added the same user to the grid both times.

Here I would advise you on opening a support ticket, so this can be investigated further.

    Thanks for testing the issue.

Just to make sure we are on the same page, I would like to confirm the steps I followed:

    1. Created lead

    2. Added member (only for user record) to sales team grid

    3. Click Qualify

    4. Got error.

If I removed the member from grid, I was able to qualify the lead.

    Hi Aparna

Can you check if  you remove the "connections (connect from)" Entity and switched it to a different entity for isolation,  So that we can check if we are adding any records from any entity the same error is occurring or is it only with the Connections entity.

    Hi Akash,

I changed the entity from connections to contacts. And when I added the record, on lead qualification error was not thrown. But getting error when I added the connections back.

    Hi Partner

so far, this seems to be an issue with the Connection entity only. Can you check by creating a new connection record and adding the same record in sales team grid if that helps.

    Hello Akash,

    Thanks for the help.

I created a new connection. On the connection form, I added my lead's name to 'connected from' field. The connection got added to the Sales team grid on lead form automatically.

After that when I tried to qualify the lead, I got the same error. This happens only when I add a user record as connection.

    Hi Aparna

For the Sales Team Grid, Can you check by changing the View from " All Sales team members" View to any other view.

Additionally, while creating a new connection,  in "Connected from"  field we will enter the Leads name but how about the Field in "Connected to". What is the value you are entering in "Connected to" Field.

    Hello Akash,

When I changed the view, I could see the records accordingly.

In the connected to, I have entered the name of a user. I have created connection for user type of record.
