Are you talking about Ship date of transfer order Header, which is just besides the Receipt date?

Well, there is no setup for this.

The author of Dynamics AX is writing this at below location

    AOT\Data Dictionary\Tables\InventTransferTable\Methods\initValue

If you will follow above path you will find a line of code probably line number 16 or so.

    this.ShipDate                   = systemDateGet();

If we translate above line of code into functional language it says following:

"As a new Transfer order is created, take session date and assign session date to ship date."

Further If you want to change behavior of system, you can.

However, when I try to change "sale order leadtime" in AR parameter, I see ship date = system date + sales order leadtime.

Allow me to debug that. I will get back with findings.

    following is my observation.

    1) when you create a new Transfer Order ship date will be your session date

    2) ship date can change, as you will proceed on Delivery Tab, and do any changes in delivery date control

in case if you don't do any change in delivery date control, ship date will stay same as session date

I do not change anything in Delivery Tab, but ship date still change to date that equal session date + sales leadtime in receivable parameter (sales leadtime = 5). I will check error with my IT once more and tell you the result.

Do you test and have the result same me?

And I wonder why system control 2 day do not care calendar? because I realize that system don't care sunday even though I closed work on sunday.

    Hi,

did anyone find the solution to this? I got the same issue that the Transfer order screen doesn't work with the Sales Lead Time, although the delivery control is set on the line.

Same issue in D365, the ship date automatically matches the receipt date on the Transfer order header.

    WHY?

Where can this be changed ?
