Asset Leasing - Lease Status - Always set to Not acquired

The system is not updating the lease status.  It appears to be a bug.  Just wondered if you agree that I should create a MS ticket?

Lease 1 shows Lease status as "OPEN"

    Hello all that responding, I have created an idea to Microsoft.  Please vote so that we can get awareness of this issue to Microsoft.

    Yes, this seems to be a bug.
     
    I think you should raise it with Microsoft.

    Hi Jolie,
    There are three lease status of lease summary:
    1. Not yet Acquired - this status will automatically updated once lease is created
    2. Open - lease status will be changed to open once initial recognition is posted, since lease schedules are open now
    3. Closed - once all the created schedule is posted status will be changed to close since there is no schedule left to post.
    For your query it is showing not yet Acquired at lease summary form. It seems there is bug. I have tested in version 37

    Moreover, control name of lease status is different in book detail form lease status field and lease summary form, technical guy may help with the reason of this based on control name of both the fields.

    It's January 2024 and I am still seeing this - has anyone figured out how to fix --- or will there be a release soon?
