Calendar not working on Timesheet Entry in Business Portal

When a specific client ID connects to our business portal site, enters login and password, see the Project option, select Expense Sheet, she has no problems in following the prompts to enter the expense claim details.

However, when the same user, on the same computer, in the same connection session, attempts to enter a Time Sheet, when she selects NEW, then tries to enter the date, either as presented or by clicking on the Calendar option, the page allows her to make the selection, but then when you click on OK to start the data entry, the screen flashes two times and drops her.

In testing - from a different computer - I am able to using her login information, connect to Business Portal, open the Project, select Time sheet and enter whatever I want.

This also is true for a majority of the other users in the system.  Of the 60 plus users, it appears that this user (maybe one more - not confirmed) is the only one that is unable to enter the Time Sheet.

All users are members of the <domain>\bp users (AD Group) - it is this group that is a member of the Project and other bp pages.  No named user is listed in any of the security windows.  All users are in the AD group.

Users are assigned rights via the Role that they fill as we understand, so, all users are in all BP Groups, then Users are assigned Rolls.

    Thanks Bob, I was considering security as an issue, but this user is the same 'general user' and is only in the bp user group, but the security I did not consider was that of the desktop.  Where I am somewhat stumped however, is that the Expense Sheet works with no errors for this user.

    But I will look at the local machine and see what other differences I am able to see.

    Bill,

    If I'm understanding correctly, it's failing for one user on one specific machine.  If you try from another machine, it works for this user.  

    Here are a few questions/comments.

    • Try with another user on this machine to see if they experience the same issue.
    • What is different between this machine and others?  OS, browser type, broser version?
    • I'd investigate security settings, script settings, etc. on the browser to see if something needs to be tweaked.
