Hi All,

We have setup on-premises CRM 2015 with exchange online, Email router configuration.

I have setup several users's mailboc to use email router.

When I am logging with the use account on CRM web client it showing me all contacts (contacts of other mailboxes as well)  and email conversations of other accounts.

My requirement is:

I want to restrict users to view contacts and emails of other uses

exchange online emails must not sync with CRM (single directional sync CRM---> exchange only)

how can I achieve this?

THanks in advance

    Hi Rajkumar,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

     Finally solved this.

I have followed below steps to achieve this.

    Step 1:

    • Created a new security Role "test_Role " (by just copying sales person role)
    • Edit "Test_Role --> gave “User” level permission on “Read” for “Contacts” and “Activity
    • Assigned "Test_Role" to all CRM users

Step 2: Setup a user synchronization filter for all users

    • Created a new filter --> Look for (Service activity)
    • Activity type --> equals --> Email
    • Save and close

    And Done!!!!!!!!!!
