    Hi prasadn.nampalli,

Is "EcoResDetailsExtended" is standard form or custom form?

If its is standard form then you need to create a extension for that form - Added a new menu item button - Map the menu item in the property.

If its custom form you can directly add a new menu item button - Map the menu item in the property.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Hi Girish,

EcoResDetailsExtended form is standard form, and added to current project through extension. And i added menu item button in tab page ...but when I check the form appearance at UI the field or control name displayed in the box itself.

    Thanks,

In the above pic the "crop type" name displayed in the control ...but I want to display the name as Description above the control field /box.

    Its confusing.

So you need to add a lookup for the description field?

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

To create a lookup for field in the extension form - You need to copy the onLookup event handler of the "Description" control . Please go through the below link.
