Removal of person in users form

Hi All,

How can I delete the person selected in the Users form?

By mistake a wrong person is saved against another and now not able to change it as this field is grayed.

Kindly assist.

Hi,

In the Form itself the field is not editable. You have to use „Maintain versions“ from the menu bar.

Hi Sonali,

Select user and select 'Maintain users'

Delete record on the form.

Then come back to users form. The user is still specified on the form. Refresh the form and you should be able to select another user (field is now editable) OR leave it blank.

Hello Sonali Rout,

Kindly do the following;

--- Select the user first in this form.

--- Click on Maintain versions.

--- Now click on Delete.

The person will be removed from the Person field.

Once removed; you can select the appropriate person in this field again from the drop down menu as available.

Hello.

I have a similar problem.

I deleted the employee from the Users list, and I didn't do it through Maintain versions, but directly.

Now I want to add the same user again, but I can't find it in the Person tab.

Can you help me with this?

Hi, how did you remove without using maintain versions form? that is the only way.

If you cant find the person, can you check in maintain versions and delete from there if already and then add back.

If still no luck, I guess the employee is tagged with other user now.

Thank you for your reply.

I deleted user from user list, but I didn't use Maintain version to remove user-person relationship first.

I managed to import the user again from Active Directory, but I can't assign it to an employee, because I can't find it in the Person list.

I check User Person relationship table to find relationship for deleted user, but that record doesn't exsist.

In Worker table I see the relationship fields are filled (I presume that is the problem), but I can't edit them (remove values and make Worker enabled for selection in Person tab).

Is there any way to remove connection through Excel?

Is there maybe some other table where I can find these records?

This is a screenshot of the data for the worker I'm having a problem with. In the worker table, the user to person relation exists and I cannot edit it, because the field is read only.

But when I open the User Person Relationship table, I don't see this data.

Is there any way to delete this relation and reassign the employee to the user?
