Hello everyone,
Why is there no option to disable or set campaign status to inactive? This is a pain because it is not possible to seclude any campaigns from the list of options available to users to select from in a lookup or view. Is there a work around to tackle this?
Is there also a way of sending attachments in campaign activities (emails) that go out to members of a marketing list or the ability to make marketing list contacts available from the address box option through CRM for outlook? Many thanks for your responses in advance.

Correct. Campaign can not be disabled. However, one alternative is to create a new bit field 'disabled or done' then change the sorting of your quick find campaign view to sort by this field. You can then get all the 'active' campaigns to be listed near the top and 'done' campaigns at the bottom.

There is no easy or out of the box mechanism to do this. The only alternative would be a 3rd party addon or to develop a plugin via the sdk that adds the attachment in crm.
