Email Templates Used Count

Hi,

I need to get the count of email sent using an email template.

There is an out of the box field  "UsedCount" in the Email Template entity, but this field is empty for all the email templates.

Is there any standard method to get the count of emails send using an email template from this field?

    I dnt think it updates the count upon using number of times in email.

    Hi Nijo,

    I don't think Microsoft automatically updating UsedCount field. Better you can try out some custom coding method to update this field based on the sent email count. Probably use plugin.

    Hi Syed and Mansoor,

    Even I thinks the same, but since there is an out of the box field I just wanted to confirm that, there is no other standard methods other that custom coding.

    Yeah true.. Try this approach for coding . Create a rollup field on email template entity & on create of the email entity check some particular phrase of the template if there update a custom field to identify is it template 1 or 2 etc.  Then sum up the email activity using the rollup in email template entity.
