Hi,

I don't seem to be able to find where the Field Services Forms reside.  Does anyone know where I can get access to these forms and modify them?

Thank You. for any help

    Hi LISpeddyG,

Are you looking for the Field Service word templates, is that what you mean? If so there are not any word templates for Field Services. You could use the word template generator to create the word templates based off of the respective report writer reports.

Here is the link to the template generator site to download it:

    Thanks,

    Hi Shannon,

Thanks You so much for the response.  This will truly be useful.  However, I still am unable to find the Report Writer reports for Field Service.  I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly.  I can see all  the forms for Purchasing/Sales, etc..  But, not for field service.  Can you give me any possible hints?

    Thanks

Hi, There are a couple ways to get to the Field Service reports in Report Writer. The easiest way is to print to screen whatever you want to modify and then hit the "Modify" button. Otherwise, if you're going direct to Tools>Customize>Report Writer, the first screen you get has a picklist. Instead of  Product: "Microsoft Dynamics GP", pick "Field Service".

The modfied reports are stored in the "RPTS949.DIC" file not the "REPORTS.DIC" FILE. Modified forms are saved in the "FRMS949.DIC" file.

    Hi David,

Thank You SO MUCH!!  I've been banging my head for weeks and did not see the obvious, i.e. "Instead of  Product: "Microsoft Dynamics GP", pick "Field Service"

I've been blowing through this seemingly innocuous prompt for ever.

    Thanks again.
