Table Extensions and dependencies

This is less of a question but feedback to the engineering team and community. We are an ISV with a solution in marketplace for Microsoft Business Central. Table extensions on a dependency app is common extensibility approach. However, table extensions create a dependency that cannot be removed. In other words, if an ISV would extend another 3rd party with a table extension, any deprecation or removal of that dependency app would kill your app. I would like to know from others if they have run into this issue or how impactful it could be. It seems to be an obvious problem that the engineering group could easily fix. Thanks for your feedback.

I am not so sure that this is an issue that can be really easily fixed.

If you publish and app to AppSource that are dependent on another 3.party app that is out of your control you always run the risk of being impacted by breaking changes or the depenent app being removed form the tenant.

I do not see how the engineering team could help you avoid that.

But if you have a good idea about how it can be fixed you can submit that as an idea to the product team here.
