CRM 4.0 Customization and Outlook Connector

We have CRM 4.0 setup on Windows Server 2003 - SP2. We have done customizations to CRM to Programs section. We want to check if Outlook Connector can be installed or not and the customizations done on the CRM will not affect its functionality.

Outlook client is another way of accessing the CRM application. If the customization done is working fine from the web client I would say it should work from the Outlook client as well as far as it is not an unsupported customization. Please install and configure the CRM 2011 outlook client and verify this behavior.
