
This is a recurring question related to the setup of HSA deductions and Direct Deposit. Currently, I've setup a linked deduction with Direct Deposit but as has been the case discussed in prior scenarios, the deduction does not post to Bank Rec and therefore an adjustment has to be made to reconcile. It doesn't appear that there has been a resolution in GP 2016 but I'm hoping that I've just missed it. Any input or ideas appreciated.

It seems like more are setting up HSA and we should probably publish something on it, so that is my to do, but I think how you could set this up and our recommended way would be to create the benefit / deduction that is needed, then link it to PIP, Payroll Integration to Payables. Then when you post payroll it will update payables and you can send your EFT file out as needed.
