We would like to add small GIF files corresonding to each of our inventory items that will print out on Pick tickets, Sales Orders, Packing Slips and Invoices. What are the steps and if not in GP does anyone know a 3rd party add on that can facilitate this?

    Hi James

While you can add a link to an image file to the internet information window associated with an item, there is no way to take that image and insert it into a Dynamics Report Writer report.

Dexterity does have a picture data type and so it might be possible to create Dexterity customisation with a custom parallel table to store the image for each item.

You might be better off looking at what is possible with Crystal Reports and using tools like Rockton's Dynamics Report Manager (http://www.rocktonsoftware.com/) or Accountable's Forms Printer (http://www.accountable.com/) to link to Crystal.

    Thanks

    David
