Making inventory report with from data and to date range

Dear Experts,

I want to make a report for inventory, where i want to add "From Date" and To Date" Range using Between operator is it ok or not. If not then why please describe and help.

    Why do you have to create such a report yourself?

    Doesn't the standard inventory value report work for you?
