Setup users in migrated data from GP9 to GP 2010

Dear all,

How to fix the existing user name and security setup in GP 2010?

Our data base in SQL Server 2000 with GP9. We were migrated to GP 2010 with SQL 2008 server. When we login in GP 2010 with existing use name that is not allowing only sa can log in to the system.  If I do delete the user and add it again then I may loose field level security.

Please advise me to solve this issue..
