Halting the posting of a duplicate invoice

Good Morning,

I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about "hard halt" capabilities in Dynamics SL. Are there hard halt options for duplicate invoicing "out of the box", or would that be a customization? Any info anyone has would be great!

I wrote a customization to cause it to not allow it. Otherwise, the most you can get out of the box is a warning.
