Custom Layout for Financial Reports

Hi,

We are trying to use a custom report for the Financial Reports in BC21 onPrem.

We can run the report from the Custom Report Layouts page but when we try to print the Financial Reports, I can't select the custom one we created, just the base report

What are we missing to be able to select it?

Hi, the layouts you can choose from the request page have already been added to the Report Layouts page, so please add them again here.

PS: Custom report layouts is a legacy feature that is being phased out. Instead, you should start creating user-defined layouts as described here.

Hi Yun Zhu,

Our client is on BC21 OnPrem.

The new report layout feature is not available

The custom report works great if we print it from the Custom Report Layout page, but we can't seem to find a way to link it when printing from the Financial Report pages.

It keeps the built-in layout and we can't change it to the custom one.

Hello Julie,
When you're in the Report Layout Selection, you can easily use your custom Report Layout. Just choose your custom layout from the options available, and it will be applied to your report.
Go to the Report Layout Selection.

Choose the Layout Type and select "Custom Report Layout." you'll see the custom layout options.

After that Click OK

Now, when you run the Financial Report, you'll see that your custom layout is being used.
