CRM client for MS Office - Add-in causes cursor to move away from To field in Outlook

I had several users complaining since our recent addition of this CRM client, that when they start a new email, their cursor is not in the "To" field as it usually is.

I noticed that it was right at first, but immediate disappears.  If I disable the CRM Add-ins, then the cursor stays in the TO field as usual.  re-enable, and it's back to disappearing.  I don't see anything that does get focus instead of the To field.

I have two "Microsoft Dynamics CRM" Add-ins listed fwiw.  I'm not sure if that's normal.  They both refer to crmaddin.dll.  One has the "load behavior" of "Load at Startup", where the other says "Loaded".

I'm using Outlook 2013 (have seen problem with both 32 & 64 bit versions), MS CRM 2016, and Windows 10 pro.

Anyone else see this?

Thanks

Just to chime in here. We have 40 CRM users and it's happening to all here. CRM for Outlook 2015. Office 2013.

With CRM 2016, Service Pack 1 provided a client update as well.  I applied the client update and the problem went away.  However... I've had to disable the client because it crashes outlook shortly after opening every time.  Soo.... solved one problem... created a larger one :)  I haven't had time to dig into that.

Thanks for the info. We won't be installing that version for now then. The CRM for Outlook client is so bad we've told users to disable and just use the web interface. Only problem is we need some of the features that the Outlook client provides. We've been using it since Jan. 2015 (versions 2011, 2013 and 2015) and have had nothing but problems. All support can offer is to uninstall/re-install.

Yes, this we have experienced the crashes and the loss of cursor focus when creating emails.  This is such a painful experience for our users, as they sometimes type entire emails before realizing the windows does not have the focus.  I also posted on another thread here. community.dynamics.com/.../182040
