Edit SiteMap CSS

Hi All,

I have a requirement to widen the size of recent records section in the entity's site map.

nav-section-size.JPG

I want to expand the size of the selected section, is there any possible way of doing that, using CSS or any plugin tool in XRMToolBox.

Or as an alternative if we hover over the records can I see a tooltip with the full name of the record, this came up as the name of the record is really long and is truncated in the recent records view.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Vinod

    Hi Vinod,

You can't do this in any supported way. Customizations to the COM, CSS and any functionality that is not available out of the box is not supported by Microsoft.

You might be able to do this in an unsupported way by using jquery and customizing the Site Map elements using styles and a global library, but never tried this.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Vinod ,

I would suggest try to avoid this type of unsupported customization ,for me doing unsupported way is nothing but , just waste of time for any CRM developer. I don't think OOB  label width give users any pain for recently viewed records.

So try to reject this type of requirement.
