Hi:

In the body of the e-mail message within the Order Confirmation window, is there not a way to replace "Dear whatever" with simply "Greetings" for all such e-mails sent by default and do so without using AL programming?

Thanks!

John

    Hi,

Yes you can modify the email body.

The email body is stored in "Custom report Layouts" in Business Central.

    1. Export te email body.

    2. In word. Modify to your needs.

    3. If you want to add dynamic fields. You need to go to Developer--> XML pane and add from there.

    4. Save your word report and close.

    5. Import the layout back in Custom report layout.

    6. Go to Report selection Sales and assign the email body to Order.

This will then update your email body for the Order Confirmation.
