Error Running SRS Report

Customer reported the following error when running the RM HATB SRS report:

An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
    • Query execution failed for data set 'dsGP10Proc'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
      • There is already an object named 'PK#RMHATBDO' in the database. Could not create constraint. See previous errors.

 

This error occurs with sa user as well as other users.  They are able to run other SRS reports w/out error.  The report has never worked.  They are able to run the canned RW rept w/no errors.

 

Any suggestions?

    Hi Nancy,

     I'm assuming that this is an SRS report you or a developer created.  I'm going to further assume that it is based on a stored procedure.  If both of these assumptions are true, the first thing I'd check is the stored procedure to see if it is recreating an index on a table as part of the procedure.  Most likely the developer intended to create a temp table with an index in the stored procedure and didn't do it properly.  Hopefully that will get you moving along the right track.

     Please follow up with more details and I'd be glad to help you troubleshoot.

    i am getting the same error on the Historical aged trial balance report.  This report is a SRS report that came with GP, not developed in-house.  Is this a known issue?  Any help would be great.

    Hi Jennifer,

    Can you please provide some more details?  The canned GP reports do not use a dataset called dsGP10Proc as was shown in the orginal error.  Can you please provide the error you are receiving?

    Sorry, I missed the proc name when I was looking through my reports.  I'm assuming you're able to run other reports?

    so far we can run all other reports.  Not sure we have tested them all but so far so good.

    Ok.  What version of GP are you using?  Does it work with the sample company?

    Did you install the latest service pack for the deployment wizard before deploying the reports?  Are there any other error messages that accompany that one?

    I believe I did install SRS Report Models_Service Pack 3.  I there a way to confirm that?
