Sales Invoice Report Sold To Customer Name is not showing correct name for some customers only

Hi,

Sales Invoice Report Sold To Customer Name is not showing correct name for some customers only.

For some customer's, sales invoice report  - Sold To Customer Name is showing delivery name only.

Any idea to solve this issue.

    When was the invoice posted? The invoice information is saved in the posting time. So if you change the customer address after that, the old invoices will not change (since they should reflect what was posted and sent out). Maybe this explains it?

    Do you check the value logic of this control or which fields are associated with it?

    As Nikolaos Mäenpää  said if your report address get from invoice information, the invoice information will do not edit or change when you edit the sales order address or customer master address

    I posted this invoice just now... But its not showing the name properly..

    It's happening only for some customers.

    Any idea to solve this issue?

    Sales Invoice Report->Sold To-> Name is linked with CustInvoiceJour->Invoicing Name field.

    I posted this invoice just now... But its not showing the name properly..

    It's happening only for some customers.

    Any idea to solve this issue?

    To my understanding the invoice data (including addresses) comes from sales order, not directly from customer. So please compare the sales orders and see how the addresses look like there. Also please note that some orders might have different Invoice account than the Order account.

    Maybe your problem is in the sales orders, not invoice printout. Also please check what data you have in CustInvoiceJour table.

    By the way is this your own report design or a standard design?

    We found that the issue came only for intercompany customers.

    Sold To Customer Name is showing delivery name for intercompany customers.

    Any idea to solve this issue?

    You could debug Tables\CustInvoiceJour\setInvoiceAddress to understand it. Depending on your data the invoicing name might indeed be initialized from different fields.

    Then, if you think it's not working correctly, you could search LCS for possible hotfixes. If there are no fixes, you should report it to Microsoft support.
