Hello, please check into these application logs if there are any details to better identify the problem and post here if you find something

Ensure also a full compile of models before.

Event Viewer > Application and Service Logs > Microsoft> Dynamics

    Hi,
could you check the service account mentioned on the SSRS service, and make sure it is correct username and password?
try starting the service from service.msc after making sure it has correct username and password
Also take a look at ssrs logs which are saved in it's own directory, which is usually located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services\SSRS\LogFiles\ReportServerService_*.log

Thank you Diego and Shohaib. I looked at both places. In event viewer,

In Reporting services log, below error message is displayed. So I created an SSL certificate from IIS services\AOS Service
and imported .pfx certificate into Trusted Root Certificates Authorities folder. but the certificate is not in the list.

The first error seems a problem over xppAgent, the process report this.
Are you sure the all models is compiled and the FO is stable?

I don't think is a problem with certificates.

    Diego,

My F&O is stable. All the problem is with SSRS Services not running. So I am unable to deploy reports from my dev environment.

I got the missed dll from recent service update and added to PackagesLocalDirectory\bin folder. I also had error messages in Event Viewer for System.Data.Common.dll and System.Xml.dll. All three dlls are copied from serivce update and moved to PackagesLocalDirectory\bin folder.

Also as suggested in Event Viewer, I added EnableLog set to 1 in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog.

I got the below error when I started building all models.
X++ compiler exited unexpectedly with failure code -1073741571

So I deleted all the new dlls added externally, set EnableLog to 0 and run the axbuild again. Now my F&O is again stable.

but the problem remained as it is, SSRS services not running.

Hello, the strange part is that i don't have any of these DLL in my bin directory.
But the Reporting Services Works, this is why i suspect another kind of problem.

Are you using a local VHD or Cloud Hosted deployed from LCS?

    Diego,

One more help, could you let me know if these dlls are in any other folders related to SSRS as these error messages are in AX-SSRSReportTools?

    Thank you

Hello,  i've check on an my events log and i have the same error.
The problem as i guess is not related to DLL i think as i told before.

Have you try to standard manually the service from services?

Yes, even manually throws the same 1053 Error.  The other thread link you asked to check was also posted by me. The issue then was, since I uninstalled and installed Reporting Services, it was missing all D365FO related extensions in .exe.config files. So, it didn't help and I couldn't suggest any answer in Dynamics Communities thread.

I again did the whole VHD process from scratch, hoping this time SSRS issue gets fixed. Since Report server couldn't be configured, I couldn't publish all reports and had trouble whenever I had to test on customized reports.
