Share OPOS Printer problems

Hi all

I'm building a loyalty and receipt advertising add on for Dynamics RMS.

Essentially it monitors the virtual com port for an Epson TM-T88V printer and every time there's a sale extracts the transaction details from the database based on the transaction number on the receipt.

The data is then sent to my server to processed and either a gift voucher or coupon bitmap is sent back to be printed using the app which is built with Pos for .NET 1.12.

I've enabled the share OPOS printer setting in SO Manager but I've been noticing there's some strange behaviour. After about 30 transactions the program gives an error  dialog saying

Printer Error - Unknown error. Then it just hangs

Any ideas as to why it's failing ?

Thanks

    Fixed.

Turns out I was trying to write to the OPOS printer at the same time as RMS and it was causing IRQ confilcts.

Now I wait for the printer to close before writing to the OPOS printer.
