blocked item not working acording to the docs

Hi!

This is how Docs describes the block function. We have the problem that already purchased items cannot be posted, even though we just use the Purchasing Block.This is really disturbing our processes, with suppliers invoices and so on.

Any suggestions how we solve this? Is there a secret setting somewhere?

The documentation is not fully clear.

The system will enter an Item Journal Line while posting the PO and as per the documentation, we cannot enter purchase blocked items on PO lines, Item Journals etc. which is causing the issue/error.
