    Chuck,

Thanks for the update. This could be the issue then.  The Bug ID 23179.  Remember that cases opened with support that are specifically related to bugs are not chargeable.

    Have a great day!

Ok.  Thanks for following up on this issue.  Our client is on SP3.

    Chuck,

Thanks for the update. In version 7.0 SP3, there was a bug reported where if the item being added had not previously been received in that Site ID that the INTran would not get created in the Adjustment batch.

There is a workaround for this bug where a Stored Procedure needs to be modified but you would need to open a support case to get that.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Per our client:

"Items that are added in the tag entry screen which were not included the original tag creation file for a specific location are being excluded from the adjustment batch after the reconciliation process. This is creating a out of balance batch that won't process through the IN release screen."

Is this a known bug?  We have just been having this issue lately.

Thanks for getting back to me.  I believe our client is adding tags while still In Progress.  I will send him your email to double check.

    Thanks,

    Chuck,

Thanks for the update. I am still a little confused as to how you are doing this.  Once the Physical Count has been set to balanced you shouldn't add anything to it.  If it is In Progress, you should be able to add tags with the Inventory ID, Qty, and Location. Once you set the Count to Balanced, then process it through the Reconcile Physical Inventory screen, the adjustment batch should include the adjustment based on the Physical Quantity entered in the Physical Inventory Review screen.

Let me know what you find.

    Jayson

The first time we added Inventory IDs we did not hit the New Tag Number button and we got a blank field under Line Type.  This time we hit the New Tag Number and we got User Entered under Line Type.  Both times those IDs did not load into the Adjustments screen though.  Do you think there is a bug with adding IDs to new locations?

    Chuck,

Thanks for posting.  In order to add an item that was physically counted in a location but does not have a tag to record the count on, there is a New Tag Number button in the Physical Inventory Review screen. Clicking this button adds a tag to the physical count and you can enter the quantity, Inventory ID, and location for the items.  Once the Count is set to Balanced and processed through the Reconcile Physical Inventory screen, SL should create an adjustment to bring the item into stock.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
