Automatically create folders in SharePoint and associate them with Dynamics 365 records

Hi guys!

I know that if we have existing folders in sharepoint we can associated them using document locations with the entities.

However is there a way to also create the folder on SharePoint by adding a document location for that case? Create a document location won't create a folder in SharePoint.

Is there a way to do it?

Yes it's possible. Please look at: code.msdn.microsoft.com/SharePoint-Integration-c5f21604 or journeyintocrm.com/.../182 for some examples.

Or a slightly different approach using Azure Functions: www.oak3.org/.../creating-sharepoint-site-dynamics-crm-azure-functions

Hey Shak,

Looks the answer mentioned here requires a developer. But if you want to do it without one, you can try this - https://automate.io/integration/microsoft-dynamics/microsoft-sharepoint

This requires no code to create a folder in your SharePoint account.
