Purchase requisition's delivery address

Hello,

What address is retrieved in Purchase requisition delivery address when it is created?

As I know it should look entity delivery address right?

One of the addresses that I have in my entity purpose is set to "Business and Delievry" and is Primary.

I also have 2 other delivery addresses for my entity.

When Requisition is created, by default in Address I was expected to see Primary Delivery address and in lookup other 2 delivery addresses.

Isn't it how it should work? Can it be setup somehow to act as I described?

Hi,

I found this information in TechNet:

"When the requisition purpose is consumption, you can add a new address, or select an alternative address for the selected purchase requisition line. When the requisition purpose is replenishment, the delivery address is the address to the site or warehouse for the line item. If no address is defined for the site or warehouse, then it is the delivery address for the organization."

In my case I'm using procurement categories for Purchase requisitions so I don't know how the system is retrieving the address... I thought the system will look at the worker address but I don't have any setup for my worker. Also I was expecting to see the primary delivery address of my entity but neither it was updated...

Any additional information would be really appreciated.

Hi,

default address of "Buying legal entity" is retrieved in PR's delivery address, doesn't matter if it is Primary or not.

With procurement categories you need to configure the purchasing policies for purchase requisitions and then add an address to the employee record of the requestor - the system will then use the requestor address over the default address of the buying legal entity.

Thanks Steven! I have tested and it works as I was expecting. It makes sense to me if the requestor is in a specific site the system looks at this address and updates it rather than the legal entity one.

now D365 is getting address of Requester on PR lines.

But we need Legal entity address as default.. please share screenshot if you resolved already
