Unable to future enroll an employee in the leave plan of the same type

Hi All,
I am getting below error when I am trying to enroll an employee in a leave plan of the same leave type with a future enrollment date.

/A worker can only be enrolled in one plan of leave type Annual Leave. To enroll the worker in this plan, expire the existing enrollment
by updating its end date to be in the past./

I enrolled an employee in the Annual leave plan 38H from 01 Jan 2024 to 15 Feb 2024
Then, I enrolled the same employee in the Annual leave plan 40H from 16 Feb 2024 to 29 Feb 2024

As I know its just a temporary leave enrollment, I wanted to reenroll the employee back in the Annual leave plan 38H from 01 Mar 2024 to Never.
But, the system does not allow me for this future enrollment for the Leave plans of the same leave type.

Anyone else faced the same issue and any workaround/solution to tackle it.

Thanks.

    Hi,
As mentioned below, you can provide additional screenshot information about this error so that everyone can better help you. Also, have you updated the end date of this registration to the past as prompted by the error?
    Best Regards,
    Hana

    Hi,

For the error message, please update the end date of the existing enrollment for the employee in the Annual Leave plan to a date in the past.
By expiring the existing enrollment, maybe you can then enroll the employee in the desired future enrollment for the Annual Leave plan.

    Best Regards,
    Judy

    Hi All,
Thank you for the response. See the error screenshot where I am trying to assign the leave plan from the employee form .
I understand if I end date the previous leave enrollment (instead of future date of 29 Mar 2024 to any past date), it will work.
But the requirement is to future enroll the employee as I have mentioned in the scenario.

    1) Employee enrolled in the leave plan from 2/16/2024 to 2/29/2024
    2) Error occurs when I am trying to enroll from 3/1/2024 to Never, as future enrollment considering I have end dated the previous enrollment on 2/29/2024
