Business Central filter/insert customer with custom field using Power Automate

Posted on by 5

I have created a power automate which is used to add customers from SQL. It's working properly, now the issue is We have couple of custom fields and we are not able to filter or insert record with custom fields.

e.g. Custom field name is Statement Type

and we try using create record but it's not accepting custom fields. Also, I wanted to check system name for the custom field as my field having a space.

Hi, if you're using standard APIs, you can't use custom fields because they aren't available on the standard API page.

More details: Can we extend standard APIs? – Download Standard Source Code for APIs
    https://yzhums.com/20960/

So if you need custom fields, you need to re-customize the new API, or use Odata (Web Service).

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
