how dirParty.createOrUpdateContactInfo() work ?

Dear All,

I have seen dirParty.createOrUpdateContactInfo() code in Blogs.

Can you please let me know with example how it's work createorUpdate ?

means when create work and when update work?

Please give me more shed on this.

Hi,

To check the usage of this method you can refer to method GenerateElectronicLocation(Line # 99) of either class DmfCustomerEntityClass (or) DmfVendorEntityClass (or) DMFPartyEntityClass.

Hi,

This method is being called in method GenerateElectronicLocation(at Line# 99) of DMFCustomerEntityClass (or) DMFVendorEntityClass. So, you can try to create a customer/vendor using DIXF and debug this method to understand/know its functionality.

It tries to find existing contact info. If I exists, it's updated, if not, a new one is created.

System will find the record with given values and party and if system finds that, records will get updated otherwise it will create a new record. It will work same for postal addresses as well.
