Changed Relationship Custom Label Value Doesn't Get Reflected

I had this N:1 relationship where the Display Option was "Use Custom Label". I was trying to modify the Custom Label value and changed it from "some text" to "some other text". Inside the Solution I was able to see this change take place. I published the change anticipating that when I go to the entity and select the relationship instead of using "some text" it will be changed to "some other text". But when I went there the change did not occurred. I tried to change the setting from "Use Custom Label" to "Do Not Display". But the relationship was still displayed in the entity. I exported the solution and checked the XML and my changes weren't there. Is there another way to change the custom label other than exporting the solution modifying the XML and reimporting it back into the organization?

    Hi Hayden,

I has something similar happen to me this week, I just couldn't get the relationship to update no matter what I tried. What finally worked for me was changing it from the form. Open the form from the customizations section, in the ribbon click on 'Navigation', then double click on the relationship you want to rename. I was just trying to remove mine but changing the name would be the same process.

Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as Answering your question.

    Thanks,

     Aiden
