Dynamics Contacts

We will be using Dynamics 365 Enterprise for our sales CRM solution. However, we don't want to duplicate contact information that is shared with others outside of sales. Is there a way to display the contacts in SharePoint so they are easily accessible to all and also not duplicated?

I have the same question (0)

Yes, there is a way.  You can use a Power Automate flow that can be triggered on create/update of a record in the D365 dataverse table/entity for Contact and have that write to a List in SP.  Keep in mind though that if you want to keep it reasonably simple you would only be getting the data from the Contact table/entity.  If you want to also have data from related tables/entities (such as account, opportunity, cases, etc.) it will become very complicated very fast.

So, to give the "consultant" answer: "it depends"

    Hi,

As Lorne Rogers said, you can use the Power Automate flow to synchronize contact information to the SharePoint list. You can refer to the following flow:

    Result:

    pastedimage1627461158211v2.jpeg

After that, you need to disable the previous flow, and then use the following flow to prevent duplicate data import:

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,
