Number sequence is not available for Request ID field in vendor management. When clicking on generate it is showing a popup like the application already has the required number sequences

Hi,

If the number seq. is already used or a reference assigned then you should find it here I think. Could you please check?

I could imagine that the filter in the number seq. if flawed.

Suggestions:

1. The issue with Vendor request Id being allocated a number sequence in the respective legal entity. RequestID references the Vendor requests available under Procurement and Sourcing -> Vendors -> Vendor collaboration requests -> Vendor requests.

Check the number sequences references section by selecting the number sequences being allocated.

2. If the number sequence is not being used then ensure the expected configuration key is enabled for Vendor requests. The configuration key is Vendor Portal. The field is generated from the table VendVendorRequest that depends on this configuration key called Vendor Portal. Check if the configuration key is enabled.

For Vendor Portal related components one needs to enable the Vendor Collaboration configuration key. Enable this configuration key in environment maintenance mode and you should be able to see the Request Ids related to Vendor requests.
