In my editable grid one field is locked. i want to unlock the same

In my editable grid one field is locked. i want to unlock the same. How can i achieve this? please help.

    You can check in Audit log.

    It is Single Line of text and it is not editable on form. where i should check how it updated. It is not updated by script nor updated by business rules and not by workflow.

    What is the field type  ?Try to add the filed in the form and check whether field is editable or not

    Is this field is related with other entity? The field which are related to other entity it will be locked you can only edit the fields in editable grid which are related to the same entity itself.

    Or you can check with Append and Append to access,if that field is lookup.

    But when i am checking the value in the view the value is there

    The field is not on the form

    Hi ,

    Do you have access of that field , open the record and check whether field is editable in the form or not inside form.

    I have tried this but there is no script that is disabling this field. Also this field is not in the forms but i am not able to investigate how the data is coming in this field. As it is not updated inn form,in script or workflow. so need to know how the data is updated in this field.
