I'm currently designing our first Company email using Dynamics 365 for Marketing and am experiencing frustrating and ongoing text lag issues when drafting the copy and also when working with tool box elements
Any suggestions on how to resolve it?

Thank you for providing the feedback, it is not common experience that is experienced by our customers, and we don’t see the issue you described in our daily work and testing.
We are constantly working on improving our performance and with June release we have significantly enhanced the speed of editing (especially large) emails.
Therefore, could you please check if you are still experiencing this issue?

This sounds a bit weird as we are not facing any such issues with our latest instance. Could you please share some more details like which version are you using and some screenshot where exactly you facing the issue.
Otherwise you can also try restarting the the Admin portal. I have mentioned the detailed steps to do that in Blog Post.

Here are my suggestions:
1. Check whether other machines have same issue.
2. Check whether you have too many tabs open in browser.
3. Clear your browser cache.
4. Switch to other browsers to test.
5. Cleanup your system Disk. (right click system drive: properties > Disk Cleanup)
