Hi Team,

We have a requirement to understand on the SQL Server Licensing for Dynamics 365 CE v8.2?

Currently our client has Dynamics 365 CE Enterprise License v8.2 with an extended support? However we would like to know whether the SQL Server License will also be part of Dynamics CE license that is purchased?

No,

for OnPremise versions SQL Server is a prerequisite, so your client needs to have already setup the SQL Server instance

Thanks for Reply Guido, So it means that client has to procure a separate SQL Server licenses.. even though they have dynamics 365 CE license. Is my understanding correct?

for OnPremise yes, is correct, they need to procure the SQL licenses first.
