HTML Signature Code Formatting Issues and CSS overrides

Hi! We are trying to update our signature line in D365, Outlook, and Microsoft Exchange and are running into several snags! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First, out html code was not rendering the alignment of our icons and live text on one line properly in Outlook. Our developer went through several solutions to try to solve this issue, with no success. Please see output and code screenshots below:

After a lot of back and forth, we decided to remove the icons and just go with text. While that solved some things in Outlook, (still having inconsistencies between Outlook users as to the padding of some images) there are still issues when we're uploading to D365. The code margins had to be set to '0' because it was changing the margins in the email template in D365 once the signature code was input.

Both D365 and Microsoft Exchange appear to be overriding the CSS to format the headshot and is bringing the headshot in as a square instead of a circle, which wasn't happening in Outlook. We tried to correct the issue by uploading a pre-designed headshot to D365 and now it's coming in as both a square and a circle.

Our biggest overarching question is: Is it possible to get one working html code for Outlook, D365, and Microsoft Exchange and still have the code behave properly in other platforms?

Thank you in advance!!!

RE: HTML Signature Code Formatting Issues and CSS overrides

    Hi,

Since there is a Signature function readily available in Activity Email, in case of misunderstanding I would like to check if you desire to insert a signature in the Marketing Email first.

If yes, please try to copy the HTML of the signature into a Content Block. It can retain the style of signature in different clients.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
