it is possible to surface more address fields in Business Central for inputting source data. The functional consultant should be able to configure the system to expose the additional address fields for the customer and vendor records.
In Dynamics 365 Sales, the Account and Contact pages allow you to input at least Address Line 1 to 3. These fields should be mapped to the corresponding address fields in Business Central.
Regarding data imports, it is not necessary to use data templates to import data into Business Central, but it can be helpful. Data templates can help ensure that the data is correctly formatted and mapped to the appropriate fields in the system. They can also be used to prepopulate default values for certain fields.
