I discovered the Sales Tax Journal in Business Central, but when I click on the link in the Help & Support, it ends up being a bad link (404 - Content Not Found). I would like to know more about it and how it works. If anyone has information it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have tried getting info on this in the past and have been unsuccessful. I'll tell you what I know about it which is very little. The journal is called the 'Sales Tax' Journal, but it doesn't seem to fully function in a Sales Tax environment. It's supposed to be a way to move tax amounts between accounts from tax postings that occurred from journals. It seems to have been designed to work more in a VAT environment. It works best for G/L Accounts (Revenue & Expense) where VAT is involved. The G/L Accounts I speak of would be ones where the Gen Posting Type is populated along with a Tax Bus. Posting Group & Tax. Prod. Posting Group.
The incidents I have encountered with this journal, most users end up instead using the General Journal or Sales Journal to make adjustments to sales taxes...depending of course on the scenario at hand.
I know that doesn't shed much light on the functionality, so hopefully the community can comment more on this and provide more insight.
