Reserve Multiple batches with the same expiration date using location directives

Hello,

We recently have a new customer account that requires 1 expiration date per item. I am hoping there is a solution within the location directive setup to ensure only 1 expiration date is picked without having to do a batch reservation per line on the sales order. Is there a way to have the location directive pick 1 or more batches with the same expiration date? FIFO is still some what of a requirement however if the sales order line can not be fulfilled by 1 batch it i would need the logic to move onto the next exp date available.
