Copy fixed button is not coming with customized security role

Dears,

I have created a new role to provide access of copy function in fixed asset master list page.

I am able to copy in edit mode of the fixed asset form. But not in fixed asset list page. This is doable with system admin rights.

Unfortunately I am unable to do this.

I have given full rights to below menu item

1. AssetCopy

2. AssetCopyAction

Also I have added the server method to this customized role. Please help me with further possibility

More over there is a default privilege for copy asset I tried that also.

Is it the same if you add the whole AssetTableMaintain privilege?

Dear Martin,

Thanks for your reply. I tried it,its same. Please suggest.

I have a workaround. If I open particular asset in edit mode it works.

But my point it should work from FA list page also.

Hi Prashant-Kumar, I'm not a security expert however if you will look at security node on list page you will see that this control requires "Create" access

However AssetTableMaintain privilege has only read access to list page menu item.

You may try to change it.

Hi Prashant,

It will look at the access rights of the AssetTableListPage menu item on the privilege AssetTableMaintain as ievgen mentioned. This needs to get the value Create or Delete. Then it is visible.

When it has been changed, the user should restart his AX client.

Hey Prashant Kumar,

It's probably a bug in security privilege, I think you should be able to have access without modifying privilege so you may want to create new connect issue.
