Hi

I need to remove permissions from table fields and only leave one of the table fields editable. Someone knows how to do it in Business Central V25
I have the same question (0)

There is no field permission on standard BC.

You can check App Source for field permission functionality or you can build yourself.

Unfortunately, there is no field-level permission control in the BC standard function. In addition to the method mentioned by Bilal, you can also consider third-party add-in.
    For example,

    Hi,

There are two ways to do it.

One way is through development. You can make editable property of those fields to false in table extension or set them dynamically based on conditions.

Other way is to use Lock editing property on UI. But this is not a security layer and users can modify it. You can do it either only for one user or for all users linked to a profile. To do it for your own user go to top right bar and then click on gear icon and open Personalize. Page will be in personalize mode. Click Lock Editing to make field un editable.

To do it for all users related to a profile, go to profiles and click customize page action. Then the changes you make will be pushed for all users related to that profile.
