Postponing Update

Hi, We have Dynamics 2016 online and we have been notified about the update in the next few weeks, we want it to be postponed at least as far as 90 days but we are not able to schedule it beyond August 22, is there a way i can have the update suspended for some time until we decide?

Thanks Scott, We are already on Microsoft Dynamics CRM online 2016 update (8.1.1.1010), and hope we can skip this update, i will try to contact Microsoft support too. Thanks again for your help.

Hi,

There are mandatory updates if you have not taken an update within a year - and although you can reschedule, you have to take the update by a certain time as per technet.microsoft.com/.../dn308237.aspx

There are exceptions to this rule allowed occasionally - you will need to contact Microsoft support via your admin portal to see if you qualify.
