Field level security is not working for unitcost and extended cost in purchase order

Hai,

When I was trying to hide the unit cost and extended cost of the purchase order in dynamics GP2010 by using field level security, it's not working. Please let me know how to hide the unit cost and extended cost of Purchase order and receiving transaction entry?

Please find the below details which were given for field level security for unit cost in Purchase order,

Product ID : 0 , Product Name : Microsoft Dynamics GP

Form name : POP_PO_Entry

Window name : Line_Scroll

Field name : (L) unit cost

Security Mode : Hide field.

After assigning the field level security to the user, the user can still see the unit cost in the purchase order.

Hi Uma,

Change the field name to simply Unit Cost. The local field you selected is not the field that shows in the scrolling window.

If that doesn't work, make sure you are not looking at an Alternate window. You can check this in the Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports window accessed via Administration | Setup | System. If you are, as is the case if you are using Project Accounting, then you are restricting the wrong window.
