Easy way to Disconnect Leads from Sequence?

My team uses sequences to follow up with leads in a cadence. When these leads surface and they set an appointment or transact, these leads should be removed from sequences.

Is there an easy way for a salesperson to disconnect the lead without having to change the area to Sales Insights, go into the sequence, click the list of connected records, and remove the lead?

Ideally a rep could disconnect them from the sequence within the lead.

I have the same question (0)

The salesperson has the ability to dismiss, postpone, or completed a  sequence step, by dismissing or completing one of the steps the lead record will be removed automatically from the worklist until the system will generate the next step in the sequence.

In our current version, only user with sequence privilege can disconnect a sequence from a lead from the sequence setting area.

Thanks but this doesn't solve my question -- I'm looking for a way my sales reps can disconnect the lead from the sequence without going into the sequence setting area.

If sequences are designed for follow-up, the rep must be able to remove the lead from the sequence once the follow-up is successful.

You would think the rep could easily remove the lead from the sequence while working within the lead. I must be missing something?

Yes, the current way to disconnect the Lead from the sequence is to go into the Sales Insights -> Sequence and remove it from there.  From the Sales accelerator screen you can click on the action and skip or postpone if you still wanted the Lead to remain in the sequence.  However It would be helpful to have a 'disconnect record from sequence' option from the Sales accelerator actions. This is great feedback and I'll share this thread with our developers.

I heard back from our development team for this area.  This connect/disconnect experience is going to change in a future release and it seems like these changes will address your concern.

Great, thanks for the update. Any estimate from the dev team on the future release date?

Improvements here are slated for the fall release but we are evaluating if the changes can be included into an earlier release.
