Hello everyone,

I am trying to create a local D365 finance and operation environment and enable commerce application on it too.
I did the following
  1. Executed /Admin provisioning tool/ (successfully)
  2. Executed /RetailTenantUpdateTool.ps1/ script (successfully)
  3. Verified external identity alias and user on worker /000160/.
  4. Downloaded /Modern POS/ application and /HOUSTON-3/ configuration from /HOUSTON-3/ device.
  5. Installed /Modern POS/ application.
When I execute /Modern POS/ application and fill in the device id and register number, I get the following error.

I verified the IIS server and application pools were all running. Can someone please help me out? What am I missing?
I have the same question (0)

Have you performed a health check on the retail server URL on a browser ? You should see something like the below to ensure that your Retail Server is set up correctly and that you are able to access it.

    https://<comptername>:portnumber/RetailServer/healthcheck?testname=ping

    1. If Retail Server and POS are installed on the same machine, you will need to set up a loopback exemption to allow the POS to speak to the local host. You can try the following
    2. Make sure that the SSL certificate used Retail Server is trusted and you should not see any error message when you open the retail server URL on Commerce.
    3. Make sure that you have entered the Retail Server URL in the correct format in the first step of the installation. It should follow the format https://<comptername>:port number/RetailServer/Commerce
