Extended pricing default price based on cost

We would like to setup pricing for the items to use the % margin markup on standard cost to arrive at a default price for all items.

Then setup extended pricing for promotional pricing for date ranges, etc. based off that default price.

I reviewed the manual and haven't figured out where to set the price to start with % margin markup on cost. It seems like when extended pricing is used, it doesn't read the standard item price list maintenance window?

Thanks!

Because all prices in the base book must be specified in Net Price Only, there's no way to express the price as a %margin of the cost like in the standard Price List Maintenance window. So, no, it's not possible.

Thanks Mariano. I'm looking for GP to calculate the list price based on the % margin of the cost (in the price list maintenance window). Then use extended pricing to setup a promotional price sheet to be a % of that list price. Do you know if this is possible?

You can set up your BASE price sheet to be a % of list price, where the list price is the standard cost of the item. I don't know that you can setup Extended Pricing like you would setup the price lists in standard GP, in the sense that you can explicitly select a % margin on cost.

Just checking to see if anyone has a suggestion for this. Thanks!
